Killamarsh Juiors V Doncaster Rovers Belles
Our last league game of the year and to come away with a 5 - nil win on a very difficult uneven pitch was a brilliant end to the 2009/10 season, and to finish by 5 clear points and unbeaten all year is a great achievement. We can also be proud of our strikers who fired their way to 1st and 2nd in the U16s goals stats Olivia Cawdron with 33 and Kirstie Nicholls with 28 goals which possibly could grow if they hit the net in the cup final next week against Barnsley.
Today’s opening goal came from Olivia closely followed by Ellie’s 2nd of the season but the goal of the day with a superb strike was fired in by Olivia making 3 nil, Paige got the 4th with a wonderful shot from a wide angle then to finish the game on a hat-trick Olivia scored the 5th goal.
An all round fantastic team performance girls to finish with you deserve to be the Champions,
